WaterWear lets MED-EL users keep hearing in the water. The processor slides into a fully waterproof cover, which is sealed with a single-use adhesive strip and can be reused many times.
Good to know
- Use it in fresh, salt and chlorinated water.
- With SONNET 3 and RONDO 3 it is waterproof to a depth of 4 m.
- Zinc-air batteries need air, so use a suitable rechargeable battery or alkaline or silver-oxide batteries inside WaterWear. We can advise on the right option for your processor.
- With RONDO and SAMBA processors, a swimming cap gives extra hold.
